Adding on to one of the most talked about and lauded interstellar strategy titles of last year always seemed like a no-brainer to us, and finally, Stardock Entertainment has announced an expansion called Galactic Civilizations II: Dark Avatar.
Dark Avatar adds an entirely new single player campaign that will introduce new alien races, ship components, and celestial bodies like mineral-rich asteroid
Recently resurrected publisher Acclaim has released the first details of 2Moons - a new MMORPG for PCs, which is being worked on by Earthworm Jim and Enter The Matrix developer, Dave Perry.
Based on an existing MMORPG called Dekaron - which is already a success in Korea - Acclaim has drafted in Perry to work alongside Dekaron's developer, GameHi, to specifically tailor 2Moons for the tastes of Western gamers.
Set in a world where any hope for survival is virtually nil, gamers' characters have
We've got the scoop on two of Test Drive Unlimited 's sleek Corvettes: the C6 and the Z06. Chevrolet's sleek roadsters are two of the newest confirmed rides in Atari's upcoming PC and Xbox 360 racer, and we're proud to show you the first in-game images.
The C6 Corvette is so named because it's the sixth generation of the Corvette design; the Z06 is the C6 on steroids, with a beefier engine, a higher top speed (198 mph sounds good to us) and a quicker zero-to-60 time of just 3.5 seconds. You
Cheap HD? We'll see
According to statements made during the latest podcast from Microsoft's number one paid fanboy Major Nelson, the HD-DVD add-on for the Xbox 360 will be the cheapest HD-DVD player on the market when it comes out. Since you can pick one up for about 500 bucks these days, we're more than a little skeptical that this is true. We're guessing you don't figure in the price of the Xbox 360 hardware - Microsoft may well be pretending that isn't a factor. Unfortunately, they're not
In order to get every gamer up to speed with the story behind its new real-time strategy game, Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars, EA has released an overview of each of the three factions that will appear in the game, starting with the Global Defense Initiative.
Tiberium Wars is set in 2047 where the alien mineral tiberium is slowly consuming the planet and three factions are scrapping for the areas that can still produce food and resources. One of these factions is the GDI, who started as a
Codemasters confirms both mounted combat and really cool, giant rides at the same time in their new movie of the massively multiplayer online game where you can rule the entire world, ArchLord.
The three distinct races each get their own epic mounts: horses for Humans (stay with us here, it gets better), armored battle rhinos for the Orcs, and giant Chinchilla/Tigers for the Moon Elves (Chigers? Tigchillas?). Bred for their skills in magic, no

PlayStation worldwide studios captain Phil Harrison told British newspaper The Guardian that he would be "amazed if the PlayStation 4 has a physical disc drive." Seems odd talk from a man still struggling to convince the world it needs the PlayStation 3 - and its Blu-ray drive.
According to Harrison, there are "right now more than 100 Blu-ray movies available today, in the US." Problem is, Phil, even when we give you credit for instant classics like Ultraviolet and Basic

Square Enix, the developer behind Final Fantasy and a host of other successful RPGs, has decided to start work on its own games machine.
It seems Square has been liaising with Japanese coin-op giant Taito to produce some sort of games related hardware. If that sounds vague, that's because Squre Enix president Yoichi Wada doesn't seem too clear on what the product will be either. "In our talks with Taito [which was acquired by Square Enix in September], ideas for an actual
