Need for Speed World is a competent, arcade racing game made by people that know a thing or two about making just those kinds of games. The problem is that it’s all very rote, all content we’ve played before in better games, and all the promise seeded in that term, MMO, goes unfulfilled.

Hey, we loved last year’s Need For Speed: SHIFT. Not only was it neck and neck with Forza 3 for the best racing game of last year, we’re of the opinion that SHIFT was the best NFS game in over a decade.
