Need for Speed Carbon

When a sequel's not a sequel, the streets have no name, and the sun never shines - thank goodness the racing still kicks ass

Naturally, the 360 version looks spectacular, the PC and Xbox games are no slouch, and the PS2 brings up the visual rear. So what if Carbon isn't redefining the street racing genre - really, at this point, what could? It hits a sweet spot of intensity, danger, and style.
You'll love
  • Slick, solid racing controls
  • Wide selection of sweet rides
  • Scads of customization options
You'll hate
  • Not too much new stuff
  • Repetitive wingman chatter
  • It's never daytime
