A patch released earlier this week added a new territory control system to the sandbox world of Mortal Online. Every zone is capable of being owned by a guild that owns a keep in the zone. House owners are allowed to vote once per week (counted on Sundays) as to which guild in their zone they wish to control it, via Voting Officers found near libraries. House votes are worth twice as much as a player vote, and grants a player a maximum of three votes per account.

Mortal Online is on track for their June 9th release date -- the dev team has further confirmed that by updating their site with a countdown timer and a list of goodies for enthusiastic fans.

Star Vault has announced a new launch date for Mortal Online: June 9th. Mortal Online, a sandbox style MMORPG, was originally scheduled to launch in March. At the beginning of April, Star Vault announced that they were delaying the official launch indefinitely. Since the early April announcement, Star Vault has been relatively quiet as to the status of MO.
