Without any warning Infinity Ward updated their official Modern Warfare 2 website, forums follow later!
And it has to be said that it's looking great. Soon you'll have access to the Expanded IW Community, where you can create your own profile and network with fans of Infinity Ward and their games. You will be able to connect to your account to Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. It doesn't stop there though, you will also be able to have your own blog, the ability to create events, join groups and all good stuff like that.
For now it's just the official website but as you can see on the right the forums will be updated soon too.

The functionality you're asking for, the ability to connect to BEST connection rather than first available game aka quickest match, is already built into the matchmaking.
There is no need to include an additional toggle where you manually have to ask it to put you in the game best suited for your connection, that should all be done automatically without requiring you, the player, to go through an extra step to request it."

As the interviews are happening, the video moves between three things: the interviewee speaking, previously released Capture the Flag multiplayer footage, and concept art. Admiring the concept art, something catches my eye. At the 1:54 mark of the video timestamp there is a clear, undeniable picture of Pittsburgh on fire with helicopters overhead and boats in the river.
No details were given about the picture and, to date, very little has been confirmed about plot or story locations. Could the main storyline come through Pittsburgh? Perhaps one of the many spec-ops missions will be set in the Steel City. Or maybe since it is nothing more than concept art, it has found its place on the cutting room floor. Only time will tell; until then all we can hope for is that it's not on the floor, but in the plot. Right where it belongs!
