Mirror's Edge: More must-see shots

DICE's "first-person free-runner" still looks insultingly wicked - check it out

EA has released more screenshots of its surprise game of the year contender Mirror's Edge, which looks as fit as a butcher's dog.

Check out the screens here.

Half of the images look like artwork, but you can plainly see the look and stance DICE is going for in its "first-person free-runner", which slants heavily towards first-person melee combat - and yes, jumping across big buildings.

As noted the last time we spoke about it, it's supposed to be visceral as hell with melee kung-fu combat taking centre stage (guns are described as "short power up", lasting only until the end of the clip).

First-look previews have been very positive, and it's looking absolutely fantastic. We especially like the clean, but colour-coded art style, which clearly displays your route through the map.

Let's hope it plays as good as it looks.
