Forums all over the net were littered with cries of "Hey, they've already done that!" when game developer Creative Assembly announced that its next game in the Total War series would be something of a blast from the past called Medieval II. But nobody's complaining now. Even though the subject matter may be a little familiar, all the games that came before Medieval II: Total War seem like warm-ups for this one. We join the ranks of the world-dominator sequel
Jun 30, 2006

Tap a nearby enemy/ally unit and a small piece of dialogue will play, indicating your relationship with that faction, ...   » Read Full Medieval II: Total War preview
Medieval 2: Total War
More epic mayhem. Bigger bone-crushing carnage

Remember when your best friend got his first fancy sports car? After your initial white-knuckled ride, you immediately coveted his new wheels. Just like high-end surround sound systems, blazing fast computers and imported chocolate - we never realize we can't live without these things until we actually experience them. Unfortunately, games work exactly the same way: we were jauntily subjugating the European continent in last year's real-time strategy stroke-of-genius, Rome: Total War, until we ...   » Read Full Medieval II: Total War preview
