Max Payne

Max Payne film adds Chris O'Donnell to cast

The Batman & Robin star rises like a Phoenix out of career mediocrity

The long ago announced and currently filming Max Payne film adaptation, being made by 20th Century Fox, has added a new name to its roster: Chris O’Donnell. According to Entertainment Weekly’s website, he will be playing Jason Colvin, a character who apparently never appeared in the games (not usually a good sign).

Though his career has been dormant, but not dead, since his times of rubber-nippled excellence in his two Batman films, perhaps this will be a comeback of sorts for the star. He will be sharing the screen with one Mark Wahlberg who, in case you forgot, plays the bullet-time inducing title character.

The movie is being filmed now, probably with a 2009 release.
