EA to roll out titles at Sci-Fi-London, "most of them" playable

Electronic Arts is set to sponsor the upcoming film festival Sci-Fi-London, where it will showcase big upcoming games Spore, Dead Space and Mass Effect PC.

Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath and Steven Spielberg's Boom Blox are also set to appear at the event, which runs between April 30 and May 4 at the Apollo West End theatre.

Festival-goers will be given the chance to see a sneak preview of the company's excellent-looking survival horror Dead Space, along with exclusive trailers before film screenings, and opportunities to get some hands-on time.

It's not been nailed down which games will be playable yet, but upon picking up the blower an event spokesperson told us "most of them" will be available for hands-on time. We've already played Spore and Dead Space, so it sounds likely.

"We're excited to be involved for the first time with SCI-FI-LONDON," said EA marketing man Gary Booker. "Great story-telling isn't limited to the big screen and we'll be at the festival to show that video games offer a fantastic way of telling and interacting with these stories at the same time."

Tickets cost £10 over on the official event website.
