Early adopters who pre-ordered Turbine's MMORPG The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar are now currently adventuring in the persistent-world Middle-earth.

The pre-order offer allows gamers to get into the game 10 days before its full release on April 24. Early access was scheduled to begin on Saturday morning this weekend, but servers actually went live on Friday evening.

You should still be able to pick up pre-order packs from your local game emporium. In addition to including a ten-day headstart, the pre-order pack gives you the opportunity to become a member of The Lord of the Rings Online Founder Program, which offers two subscription methods exclusive to the program.
