Juiced destined for next-gen?

THQ hopes to squeeze more out of street racer

Last summer's street racer hit Juiced could well be gearing up for a spin on next-gen consoles.

The news that Juiced publisher THQ has bought Juice Games, the UK developer behind the car-modder, is revealed in today's issue of trade mag MCV and is a sure indication that we can expect more Juiced in the future.

Originally released for PC, PS2 and Xbox, Juiced cashed in on the popularity of Need for Speed with its own take on street racing, and ultimately enjoyed considerable success itself, eventually parking itself at the top of the charts.

We'll be keeping our ears freshly squeezed for any official announcement on Juice Games' first project for their new paymasters.
