LocoRoco
Another lone blogger shook up a hornet's nest of controversy when he accused Sony's cute PSP blobathon, LocoRoco, as being a "product of unchecked institutional racism," calling out the similarities between the game's black Moja characters and racist 19th century Golliwogg dolls. You can read the whole blogger's case against the Moja here.
In response, Sony issued the following statement to Next Generation: "LocoRoco is a fantasy game geared towards a worldwide audience that takes place in a vibrant pastel world with colorful landscapes and characters and is not based on real-life places, people or things."
