Heroes of Might & Magic goes MMO

Web-based Heroes of Might and Magic Kingdoms set to launch in spring '08

Dec 14, 2007

Long-running strategy series Heroes of Might & Magic is going MMO in a brand new game.

The web-based Heroes of Might and Magic Kingdoms is due to launch in spring '08 and sticks with the series traditional strategy roots but is described as a persistent version.

"Thousands of players," explains Ubisoft, "will be able to rule their virtual kingdoms, lead gigantic armies against each other, master the trades or create legendary heroes. The game requires no download or installation, only an Internet connection. In addition, players can play at their own pace; from 10 minutes to multiple-hour sessions."

Ubisoft is currently accepting beta applications via the official Heroes of Might and Magic Kingdoms website.
