You knew it was coming...

The sixth Potter movie is on its way to theaters and, as you'd expect, on its way to videogame mediocrity with Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - and we have the first screenshot.

The game is set for release in fall of this year, coinciding with the release of the film which a bazillion people will rush out to see.

In development at EA Bright Light studio in the UK, it will again give raging Potter fans the chance to button-mash their way through events featured in the film.

"Building on the technological advancements of previous games in the series and with a particular focus on the unique control system of Nintendo's Wii, the team here is working closely with the film makers to create an immersive interactive experience that captures the story, the action, the excitement and, above all, the fun of the film," says Harvey Elliott, head of the studio.

"In the game of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, players will return to Hogwarts to help Harry survive a fraught sixth year," details EA.

"They will also have a chance to engage in exciting wizard duels, mix and brew magical ingredients in Potions class and take to the air to lead the Gryffindor Quidditch team to victory. Players may even get sidetracked by Ron's romantic entanglements as they journey towards a dramatic climax and discover the identity of the Half-Blood Prince."

Yeah, but we all KNOW who Half-Blood Prince is (don't we?).

Every relevant system - Wii, PS3, 360, PS2, PSP, DS, PC and even Mac and mobiles - will get the Potter treatment, so just lie back and accept that there's no escape now before fall rolls around.
