Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine answered a fan's question whether they were planning to make a Guitar Hero game. Here's his comments on the matter.

From Gamertell: Named the You Rock Guitar, this is an honest-to-goodness string guitar (OK, a digital string guitar) that plugs into your computer. For $20 more you can get a GameFlex cartridge that adapts the guitar to be used as a controller for consoles games including Guitar Hero and Rock Band. The You Rock Guitar will be available in February 2010 for $179.95 but will be on display during CES 2010 at Booth 5627 Gaming Showcase, LVCC, North Hall Las Vegas Hilton East Tower Hospitality Suite H2549.

Kotaku writes: Like regular sized Guitar Hero and Rock Band guitar controllers, but far, far daintier, the USB ready Riff Rocker adds hand cramping as an extra difficulty modifier to your rhythm gaming. While the lil' device has been available commercially for a few months now, it has been so at some of the more, let's say, unproven retailers. But we got a chance to go claw-hand on with it at CES this weekend. It works, but only with the open source Frets On Fire for Windows and Linux.

Guitar Hero and Rock Band were two popular ways to show off whatever product or service you were hawking at CES, with every television or projector hooked up to one plastic guitar game or the other. Rhythm games were definitely this year's Wii; everyone wanted in on the action. Nvidia had a great gimmick to get people to its booth: show off Guitar Hero III in 3D. The kids were having a blast playing at it when Ars got there and checked it out, and the 3D effect was intelligently put together. The note charts appeared flat in front of the 3D background, so while you enjoyed the 3D graphics of the band and the crowd rocking out in the game, timing and perspective on the action game part of the screen wasn't affected.

That Gaming Site Writes: I play real Guitar and Guitar Hero. Being a fan of both, I've been subject to numerous arguments over and over about how playing Guitar Hero or Rock Band is a waste of time and that 'nerds' should try picking up a real instrument and do something productive for a change. It was in this week's edition of NME (a British Indie Music Publication) that brought me this comment, in an article that........
