72 hours of early access and exclusive items for those who pre-order

Aug 24, 2007

The more we learn about Guild Wars: Eye of the North, the clearer it becomes that no Guild Wars fan of should be without the first and final expansion to the series. The game officially goes live next week on August 31, but those who pre-order it will have the chance to get a head start on the crowd this weekend.

ArenaNet's Sneak Peak Event will let you be the first to reap the rewards of the Hall of Monuments and see the new Asura and Norn races. You'll also be able to try your hand at Dwarven boxing. Best of all, any experience, loot, or Heroes that you acquire during the event will be yours to keep along with three exclusive weapons that come with the pre-order package.

Don't feel like giving in to pre-order propaganda? You can still get some juicy details by checking out an early copy of the game's manual, and a map showing the Far Shiverpeaks areas here. In the meantime, click on the Images and Movies tabs above for the latest screenshots and videos on the finale that will bridge the gap to Guild Wars 2.
