SimBin has released the first patch for GTR Evolution (1.1.1.14) which is set to correct glitches discovered just before the game went for retail sale. This means it won't fix any problems discovered after it had gone on sale.

Well it's a bit of bad news for us GTR Evolution fans because Atari Germany (and other major retailers) has announced that the release date is now set to August 21st instead of the 14th

Atari Germany has confirmed that the release date of Simbin's GTR Evolution will be on August 14th 2008. It is certain that fans in Germany will be able to get the game on that day, and is also expected that the rest of Europe will get it on that same day as well.

"The SinBin lads are at it again with the freshly announced GTR Evolution which is due out in Q3 2008. The game can be bought as a standalone game or if you already own Race 07, then as an expansion pack for it. You'll be able to race the Nurburgring ring with 22 cars spread across 3 classes. It will also include all the content from Race 07, which is 49 cars and 19 tracks."
