Rockstar Games and Valve announced a deal that makes Rockstar's entire PC catalog of games available on Steam. In true Valve fashion, those games are already available for purchase and download and during the first week, Rockstar is giving gamers a 10% discount.

Rockstar's entire catalogue of PC titles, from the Grand Theft Auto series to Max Payne, is now available for download from IGN's Direct2Drive service. This is the first time any of the publisher's games have been made available in digital form.

Within the exhibition is a space dedicated to Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto Series.

GTA is considered to be a benchmark for modern design values. This is a very positive nod towards gaming and in particular one with such a criticized content.

Rockstar have today confirmed that a PC version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will be released between May and July 2005. No further details on the game have been announced although it's expected that it will be a straight port of the PS2 version.While the PC incarnation of GTA 3 was very unstable, the port of Vice City was much improved, with far better visuals and a much higher resolution, so we have high hopes for the PC version of San Andreas.
