In a very brief announcement, JoWood has confirmed that Gothic 4 is being planned, with the sequel heading to console in addition to the RPG series' traditional PC stomping ground. And that's pretty much all the information we have at this stage, other than that the publisher has revealed that it has "not come to terms regarding the development of Gothic 4" with Pluto 13 (parent of Gothic dev Piranha Bytes) and that the collaboration with the company has come to an end. PC - Gothic 4: Arcania - Gothic 4 announced for PC and consoles Today JoWood let the world know they're in the process of "promising negotiations" with a new developer for Gothic 4. The long-running action RPG series' development had previously been handled by Pluto 13, also known as Pirahna Bytes, a company apparently now left out in the cold. There was no mention as to who the prospective new developers could be, so there's no real release window for this one yet. For now, Gothic 4 is planned as a console and PC project, a shift from the series' previous PC exclusivity.
