The JoWooD's Gothic 3 Forums announce that the first English patch is now available for Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods, updating the just-released RPG expansion to version 1.1. The new version address potential main-quest blockers, clears up pathfinding and quest issues, adds missing text, improves unspecified gameplay elements, offers graphical and performance improvements, and addresses stability issues. JoWooD Productions announced today that it's developing a new official Add-On for Gothic 3. Gothic 3 ¿ Forsaken Gods will answer many open questions and guarantee a seamless step to Gothic 4. Once more you take on the role of the nameless Hero and again you have to raise your sword in anger to save the world of Gothic. On your journey you will meet old friends ¿ but be careful, some old alliances may not have lasted the test of time¿.

German gaming site pcgames.de reports that in the official forum from JoWood, there is word of an upcoming add-on for Gothic 3 in Q3 2008. JoWood didn't comment the story so far. For Gothic fans, this would be great news.

JoWood has released a new patch for the fantasy RPG Gothic 3, with a number of changes and bug fixes included. The 1.6 patch can be downloaded in full or in a smaller version for people who have the 1.12 version installed.
