Oppressed humans to Orc slavedrivers: "We're not gonna take it"

On the technical side, Gothic 3 has been built from scratch - it's powered by an original game engine that supports day and night cycles as well as changing weather. The combat system has been improved from previous games as well, assigning all the key functions to the mouse and the W, A, S and D keys - the preferred PC control method. To pull off different attacks, you'll only have to hold different mouse buttons.

Gothic 3 does look similar to Oblivion in some respects, but it goes deeper into the themes of action and reaction. Plus, its classless character system means you can make the kind of hero you really want to make, without restrictions. Gothic 3 won't be ready for release until sometime this fall, but we're hoping to see a bit more at E3 in May.
