FreeStyle Street Basketball

Needs more of a warm-up

Microtransactions” should be the bane of every gamer’s existence. There should be no reason why we should pay money for something that directly relates to our success in a game. If we want to shell out cash for something flashy, yet useless - like say, an Ecko sweater or horse armor - then we can have that option. But charging us roughly $2 just to give our character the power to dunk is weak and inexcusable.

There’s a solid game somewhere in there, but our recommendation is for FreeStyle to hit the showers and get its act together before coming out for the second half. That nugget of advice just cost the publisher 600 bills.

You'll love
  • Progression of character stats
  • Solid gameplay and graphics
  • Can run on lower rigs
You'll hate
  • Paying for useful skills
  • Can't customize controls
  • Playing on a selfish team
