Abandon Interactive Entertainment announced today the release of Freaky Creatures a cross-platform MMO for PC, Mac and mobile phones. Freaky Creatures places you into a futuristic setting as a Freaky Creature Trainer. To succeed, you must create, raise, train, and customize your own Freaky Creature and compete in battles against other players (press 'read more' for details). In addition, Abandon Interactive Entertainment has teamed up with the Starlight Children's Foundation to spearhead the launch of Freaky Creatures, donating a portion of the sales of Freaky Creatures starter packs to Starlight's "Great Escapes" program benefitting local children's hospitals across the US. The foundation gives terminally ill children and their families the chance to partake in fun activities in a friendly, accepting environment, including movie screenings, circus trips, mother and daughter makeovers, sporting events, picnics and more.
Abandon Intercative Entertainment is now accepting sign-ups for the Freaky Creatures Open Beta.
Abandon Interactive Entertainment has released new screenshots revealing player-created lairs as well as a turn-based battle system in the upcoming online creature building and battling game, Freaky Creatures. Hitting shelves in early 2009, Freaky Creatures combines the best of online multiplayer PC gaming, collectible action figures, virtual worlds and social networking.
