CyberSports has announced that a boxed retail version of the MMO, Football Superstars, will go on sale in the third financial quarter of 2009.

Vivox today announced that CyberSports will include Vivox voice in their upcoming title Football Superstars. Vivox will host and manage the voice application to ensure operational scale and stability and to eliminate game server impact. In addition to 3D voice chat, players have access to voice fonts, buddy lists, presence alerts, voice mail, SMS, and user management tools. Football SuperStars is an MMO for the PC which will allow players to meet in a football-themed virtual world and take part in matches. Players will take control of a single footballer and build his career within the game, as they join or form and manage their own teams and careers whilst engaging in various leagues, competitions, events and tournaments. The game will be released later this year.
