Football Manager Live could be implementing the ability to hire staff in a future update for the MMO. Speaking in an upcoming interview with IncGamers, game producer Marc Duffy revealed the team saw the addition of staff as an avenue we [are looking to] explore in the future.

The UK's loss of talented developers in the sports genre has been 'utterly huge' according to Miles Jacobson, the studio head of London-based Football Manager developer Sports Interactive. In an exclusive interview with Develop, Jacobson explained that Canada's exemplary tax break rates – which peak at 40% of dev costs – was the reason why a number of British-born developers now work in cities such as Vancouver and Toronto.

Sports Interactive and SEGA Europe Ltd. today announced that Football Manager Live– the groundbreaking massively multiplayer online football manager game– has updated to version 1.2. Update 1.2 changes the way you interact with the game and other managers in a big way. Managers can now be added as 'friends' in the game, meaning you'll receive updates on their activities, be able to send messages to their homepages, and see information currently hidden to other managers, such as what skills they possess.
