Three new Fallout 3 screenshots

Crashed plane, PipBoy and brutality

Bethesda Softworks has released three new screenshots from Fallout 3, scheduled to be released later on in the year.

While one of the screenshots is a bland-looking exterior plane crash, the other two give you a better look at what to expect from the sequel.

Of most interest is the shot of PipBoy, complete with a crying Vault Boy. Presumably he's balling his eyes out because his head is crippled. How that will affect character behavior in this iteration of Fallout we're not yet sure, but if our noggins were all busted up we'd not be doing much at all.

The last picture reveals that either Super Mutants in Fallout 3 walk around on their heads or that the pistol is far more powerful that you would imagine.

Fallout 3 is scheduled for the end of the year.
