Secret agent action RPG Alpha Protocol has been laying low lately but it's set to resurface on Friday. In this week's episode of GameTrailers TV, the crew's heading down to Obsidian Entertainment's headquarters and they're not coming back 'til they've got some sweet, sweet gameplay footage for you. They'll also be showing us a little more about the upcoming Fallout 3 downloadable content.
VG247: Bethesda just confirmed Fallout 3 DLC The Pitt for an March 24 release.
MTV Multiplayer writes: "The Virgin Megastore in Times Square NYC, located right across the street from my office, is shutting down. Fallout 3 has a new Downloadable Content set, entitled The Pitt, slated for a March 2009 release.

Those of you who prefer to play Fallout 3 on the PC and have yet to download Operation: Anchorage DLC should take note of some reported issues. Forum users at the official Games for Windows site are reporting that the game fails to recognize the DLC in some instances.
The Xbox 360 Version of Operation Anchorage has been released, but PC owners have been wondering why the DLC hasn't appeared in their "downloads" section is the games main menu. Apparently, gaming blog Next Gen News credited MTV Multiplayer with the info, but made it sound like there's actually a patch coming to the 360 or PC. There is no patch at all, it's just a part of the DLC functionality."

Fallout 3 players have criticized their inability to keep exploring the wasteland after finishing the main storyline, and while that feature is coming to Xbox 360 and PC users via downloadable content, Bethesda Softworks told MTV Multiplayer there are no plans to update the PlayStation 3 version with the same feature.
