GR: For two-versus-two match-ups in multiplayer, what races make up your favorite alliances?

Josh: Space Marines would probably be the best team race. They are able to put up early offense in the form of mass Marines, or punish later on with their strong Tier 2/Tier 3 game.
Stephan: For me, I like to use a range-based race, such as the Space Marines or Tau in team games. Having an ally that also uses a range based army is usually my favorite choice. The reason is that I love watching enemy units die on approach, and this is more easily done in team games than solo games.
