Allied Mission 4: The Chancellor

With Hardt’s agreement to help the Allies “remove” the Nazi Chancellor from office —  i.e., kill him — you’ve gained the support of the forces of the German Resistance. The plan: encircle the Chancellor as he meets with his Generals in a small town in France. Lynch and Anna will take command of paratroopers dropped near the town. But unexpected German Anti-Aircraft fire has brought down all but two of the planes, leaving you with a much smaller force than you expected.

Map Legend

3. Rendezvous with Sagnier, then carefully bring all paratroopers here without loss
4. Kill Nazi guards, steal vehicles, and use Sagnier’s Bomb skill to destroy Radar Facility
5. Attack Airfield from the east edge of map, advance counterclockwise around the base
6. Bazooka troopers are dropped here—move them along indicated path to destination
7. Use Sagnier, Anna and captured Wurfrahmen and tanks to destroy bunkers and lure tanks
8. Use Lynch and fresh paratroops backed with Wurfrahmen to attack from the north
9. Converge at the Chancellor’s hideout

Gather the paratroopers that landed safely into one group and situate them all in a place where they won’t be spotted or come under fire from the numerous Nazi patrols in the area (see map). Guide Lynch and Anna on a southeast path toward Sagnier’s tent, trying to avoid contact with sentries. But getting to Sagnier without running into resistance is pretty much impossible, so make sure Anna's Lure Skill is activated when the lead starts flying. If you have trouble making it past the tanks and the guards on the road, try dashing past them to join up with Sagnier; his added firepower will help you make short work of the Nazis.

Now bring all the MG Infantry to where the Heroes are gathered at Sagnier’s tent, following the same path that Lynch and Anna took. Once there, kill all the Wehrmacht infantry guarding the base just east of Sagnier’s camp. Quickly order the paratroopers to capture all the Panthers and Wurfrahmen as you use Sagnier’s Bomb Skill to destroy the Radar Facility and prevent the arrival of Nazi air support. Speaking of Skills: be sure to activate new skills or upgrade old ones as your Heroes gain experience! Also, keep an eye on the southwest corner of the map. There are some Bazooka Troopers there that, if left uncommented, will die needlessly. Move them to the east and away from the upcoming action so you can later pair them with Allied units attacking the town.
