For the dungeon master...Neverwinter Nights 2 (read our review)
You would expect nothing short of brilliance from the creators of role-playing classics like Planescape: Torment, Fallout 2 and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II. And with their latest effort, Neverwinter Nights 2, you would not be disappointed.
The single-player quest is naturally long and engaging, but surprisingly warm and funny as well. It's the packaged-in dungeon editor, however, that gives this gift its overwhelming value to RPG nuts. Amateur storytellers will be weaving new adventures with their friends for years to come... at least until the developers unveil their next fantasy masterpiece.
