Fallout 3 Bobblehead Guide

Complete your stat-boosting collection with videos, maps, and detailed directions

Words: Tyler Nagata, GamesRadar US

Make sure you're in the eastern ruins. You'll find the Bobblehead on a desk in the upper level. If you're stuck in the western ruins, you can find a bridge on the upper floor that'll lead to the eastern side.

Above: The Bethesda Ruins is northeast of Megaton.

You'll find Dunwich Building in the very southwestern corner of the world map. This is one of those areas where you'll need to climb up and jump down to different levels to get to the right area.

Take your first right and head up the stairs. Head left at the first intersection and go right into the room with all the holes in the floor. Drop down. Head through the door in the northwest corner and continue to reach the door to the Forsaken Dunwich Ruins.

Head up the stairs and keep going straight. Hang a left in the dark room at the end of the hall and continue up the stairs. Take your first left and stay to your left as you proceed down the hall. Make sure you turn left at the fire extinguisher and pass the room with the holes in the ground. Continue sticking to your left and drop down to the lower level. Head through the door to the south and proceed to reach the Virulent Chambers.

Drop down several levels and head through the door to the south. The next path will lead you down and up several flights of stairs. You'll eventually find a Bobblehead on the ground right before the exit.

Above: No MC Hammer jokes here

Arefu is northwest of Vault 101 and directly south of Paradise Falls. You'll find the Bobblehead in Evan King's house in the very back of the settlement.

Above: Don’t underestimate the Repair skill. It’ll help you maintain and improve the quality of all your gear

Vault 106 is northwest of Vault 101 and south of Paradise falls. Make your way to the Living Quarters and head through the southeast east door. Follow the winding path and you should see the Science Bobblehead waiting for you on a shelf in the back of the room.

Are you ready to fight some robots? Good! There's a ton of them guarding this building, so stock up on Stimpacks and make sure you're well equipped for a major shootout. Head left up the stairs, jump towards the big pipe and head through the door on your right. Stay to your right and work your way past the room with the filing cabinets. Circle around the building and drop down to the floor below. Pass the two Nuka-Cola machines to reach the Depot Training Wing.

Head straight to the edge of the room and proceed through the door on your left. At the first intersection, head left. Pass the American flag and take a right at the end of the hallway. When you reach the locker room, head through the door to your right. Pass the sandbags and go through the door to your right to reach the Depot Offices.

Proceed straight through the door ahead and take the stairs to your right. Take the next flight of stairs straight ahead of you up and go through the door to your left. Pass the reception area, head up the stairs and take a right. Climb up the rubble ahead of you to reach the floor above you and head through the door to the National Guard Depot. You have now gone through many ridiculous circles to reach an electric switch that was two floors above you when you first entered the National Guard Depot. Pull the damned switch and jump down to enter the blast door. Continue down into the armory, where you'll find the Small Guns Bobblehead as well as a HUGE cache of weapons.

Above: You can help yourself to a ton of free weapons and ammunition while visiting the National Guard Depot

Above: You’ll need to work your way up to the top floor to pull this switch before you can proceed through the locked door near the entrance

Note about the Strength Bobblehead
Lucas Simm's house is locked. To get in...
- Pick the lock
- Pickpocket the key from Lucas Simms
- Kill Lucas Simms for the key
OR
- Accept the quest to blow up Megaton and rat out the guy in the Saloon to Lucas Simms. Follow Lucas Simms to the Saloon and watch the guy who wants you to blow up Megaton kill Lucas Simms.

You can get the medicine Bobblehead after you leave Vault 101 in the beginning, but you have to wait a bit.

Paladin Gunney is found in the Citadel, not GNR.

It looks like you're able to use the PIP Boy as a flashlight, but I don't see the key to activate it in the game settings. Is this some kind of unlockable?
Samael  - 1 year 4 months ago
@bamb0o

No its not an unlockable thing. In the 360 version you just hold down the B button. If you're playing PC, try holding down whatever the Pip-boy button is.

There are actually three chances of grabbing the medicine bobblehead.

A) During the tutorial

B) In the quest ESCAPE!

C) In the quest where you return to Vault 101

Hey Tyler, thanks a lot for the guide!

This is Bart's younger brother.

Are you guys planning on making a map of the entire main land?
