Stories that showcase fan-made clones of popular videogame characters made with Spore’s Creature Creator have been doing quite well on digg over the last few weeks. But it looks like digg itself has become the latest victim of the imitation treatment.

Meet the digg monster. His special attacks have been known to attract tons of traffic and snarky comments to websites that host him. The digg monster loves videos of cute girls playing Wii Fit and Zero Punctuation reviews. But the digg monster can be a fickle beast and has been known to ravish articles that are more than one page in length.
