Creative Assembly has released an update for their popular strategy title Empire: Total War, now available on Steam.
Today Sega released Warpath Campaign, the digital expansion to Empire: Total War. If you don't already have the base game, Steam's got a tempting new offer to celebrate Warpath's launch.
SEGA has officially announced the Warpath Campaign Expansion for Empire: Total War, which will only be available to purchase from Steam. The expansion contains a new campaign and 5 new American Indian factions. These factions can be played in single player and multiplayer games.
SEGA Europe announced today that Update 1.4 for Empire: Total War will be available in late September. The update includes an overhaul of the Artificial Intelligence, implemented both on the campaign map and in the real time battles. Improvements have also been made to sieges and navel battles.

Both Creative Assembly and the militaries it has tried to model mastered the pre-gunpowder art of war, and they used systems that were effective in controlling legions of swordsmen, archers, and mounted cavalry.
