New screenshots from recently announced PC RTS Empire Earth III have been released.

Like previous games in the series, Empire Earth III's empire building antics take players from the ancient world through to the future, publisher Vivendi saying that this time around we'll also get "continuous free-form gameplay that will allow players to keep units from one battle to the next."

Empire Earth III, in development at Mad Doc Software, is expected in the autumn.
