Call of Duty 4, Fire Emblem, Socom, and a whole slew of expansions arrive next week in North America.The amount of games coming to DS this week is almost disgusting, but only a few are worth mentioning. As per usual all games you should care about are bolded for your viewing enjoyment. What will you be buying?

Those of you eagerly awaiting Empire Earth III will be able to taste a mouthful of gameplay in a new demo today. Simply pop over to the website and then sit there patiently; the links are still greyed out like in that film Pleasantville, you see, and Eurogamer expect they won't turn into colour until the US wakes up a bit later today.

Sierra Entertainment announced today that Empire Earth III has gone gold and will ship to retail for PCs on November 6. The publisher also noted that gamers who secure their copy of the civilization builder in advance will receive three special units available to preorderers only. In an effort to improve user accessibility, Mad Doc is taking a significantly different approach with its latest epic-scale real-time strategy game. Whereas Empire Earth II provided RTS grognards with 15 different epochs and 14 different factions, Empire Earth simplifies the global-domination campaign to five historical periods and a trio of civilizations.

The hit CBS television series, Numb3rs, has licensed scenes from the upcoming real time strategy game from Sierra Entertainment. The episode will air on April 27th at 10pm EST with custom created gameplay scenes being used as integral story elements in the show. Empire Earth is a multi-million selling game series and the third part will be coming out on the PC in the fall of 2007.
