You know what its like. Youve just created a brand new videogame and you want to show it to the world. Youre proud of your creation. Its taken you months, if not years, to make and you want as many people as possible to share in your joy at its release. Itd also be nice to make a bit of extra money out of it.

So you start porting it to different ...
To state that most movie adaptations of videogames thus far have been crap is akin to pointing out that napalm doesnt make a very good sandwich filler. It just doesn't need to be said. People don't even try to defend Street Fighter: The Ultimate Battle and nor do Subway do a footlong Vietnam Special. But it didnt have to be this way.

Not the napalm thing you understand. That stuffs always been a bit too spicy. No, the fact of the matter is that in several cases brilliant movies ...
Doom co-creator John Romero has posted a selection of music that never made it into the original Doom game. You can find all 31 tracks on GamesRadar right now.

Compared to today's big gaming budgets and Hollywood-beating production values the original Doom music sounds more like a demo from a moody Casio keyboard than the game that kick-started the FPS genre. Still, Doom was Doom and it'll always have a special place in our hard drives, or on our Xbox Live Arcade ...
Gaming exists purely and explicitly for fun, but the majority of games are surprisingly serious. Invaders, oppressors, maniacs, evil spirits, terrorists... there are a lot of dark things out there.

So its no surprise that the majority of mods are pretty serious in intent as well. Some of them are stunning; a lot are the result of too much Buffy and The Matrix. Happily, however, among all the trenchcoat-posturing, there lies glittering the occasional hilarious freak.

Thankfully, the things our ...
Many forum posters are speculating that the assets were used without authorization.
There's no disputing that Doom 3 has some of the prettiest graphics ever on the PC, showing some of the ugliest monsters ever to throw fireballs at your head.

It appears that NVIDIA SLI owners cannot run the recently released Prey demo. NVIDIA has issued a statement with a workaround as well as word on an upcoming driver patch:

A few enthusiasts have commented that the recent Prey demo does not support NVIDIA SLI. NVIDIA is currently testing a Prey SLI profile, which we expect to release later this week in a new driver on nZone.com.

In the meantime, users can simply copy and paste the Quake 4 profile to make Prey scale. Prey and Quake 4 were developed with the DOOM 3 (OpenGL) engine, and SLI scales very well on Quake 4.

NVIDIA recommends users download the new 91.31 Forceware drivers for Prey. This driver works great on the Prey demo with all NVIDIA GPUs.
