PC - Diablo III - Day one.....No Blizzcon tickets sold It's Monday, August 11th, and that means that BlizzCon tickets are on sale. Except, they're really not. Blizzard's new Blizzard Store site is epic fail broken -- all most people are seeing is the "error has occured" screen above.

Hopefully this isn't a preview of things to come. and hopefully Blizzard will figure out a fair way to get these tickets out (because right now, the site certainly isn't working). Expect more updates to this post as the process goes along.

PC - Diablo III - 'Diablo III' Designer Explains Why Necromancer Was Cut, Hints At Return MTV Multiplayer reports:

"Although many "Diablo" fans have expressed fondness for the Necromancer from "Diablo II," lead "Diablo III" designer Jay Wilson confirmed to MTV Multiplayer that the character class will not appear in the initial release of the game.

When the team was choosing which classes to include in the long-awaited sequel for Blizzard's best-selling action-RPG series, they decided to create a brand-new one - the Witch Doctor. And with only five classes in the game, "Diablo III" just didn't have room for two curse-dealing, pet-wielding classes.

When MTV sat down with lead "Diablo III" designer Jay Wilson last week they talked about why the team chose to do go with the new, brighter color palette versus the older games' dark, desaturated look.

PC - Diablo III - Diablo III Thoughts From Ex-Blizzard Employee Ex-Blizzard employee Mike Huang shared his thoughts at his personal blog after the announcement of Diablo III -- which took place at the Blizzard Worldwide Invitationals on June 27th.
