PC News | Devil May Cry 4
Nov 29, 2007 The first details have emerged on the pre-release demo of Devil May Cry 4... though we don't have a clue when or where it's going to hit. The ten minute demo is a mish-mash of portions from Devil May Cry 4's story; including cut-up sections from Fortuna city as well as a bit from that icy level we've seen a thousand screenshots of. Excitingly a boss character called Berial is also said to feature. Oh Capcom, you're spoiling us! Speculation did kick off on the net that the DMC4 ... » Read More

Sept 24, 2007 We loved Devil May Cry 3's demon killer, Lady. After all, what man could possibly resist a woman that can cartwheel through the air while shooting guns from both hands. We're absolutely made up, then, that this hot femme is set to make a return in Devil May Cry 4. And she's had a makeover. As you can see from the side-by-side comparison below, Lady has ditched the moody school girl with a missile launcher image in favour of a more mature, yet sizzlingly sexy look. The straining, ... » Read More

PC - Devil May Cry 4 - TGS 2007: New Devil May Cry 4 Details Yesterday, IGN mentioned that the floor demo at this year's TGS for Devil May Cry 4 isn't particularly new by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, it's the exact same build that IGN has been playing for months at various press events. What IGN didn't know is that Capcom was showcasing a new trailer with footage that hadn't been released before of the title, which also divulges a number of secrets.

PC News | Devil May Cry 4
Capcom has revealed a series of brand new characters for Devil May Cry 4, including a buxom female with a serious white hair-do. According to a Babelfish translation of the Japanese website that contains her character description, she's called "Grolier." However, we've heard from a reliable source that she's actually called Gloria - far more befitting of her womanly stature. The translation goes on to say... actually it's funnier verbatim: "Staff of demon sword teaching group, simply the ... » Read More

PC News from N4G | Devil May Cry 4
PC - Devil May Cry 4 - Devil May Cry 4 demo coming for Xbox 360, PS3 not certain IGN reports that Capcom announced that a Devil May Cry 4 demo will be released for Xbox 360 sometime before the game is releasing. The demo that is shown at E3 is completely the same that was shown for the first time in April, so no real new footage of Devil May Cry 4 is expected.

Capcom will be releasing an Xbox 360 demo sometime before the game releases. Capcom is also 'considering' a demo for the Playstation Network, but nothing is certain. A demo for PC is not mentioned. The demo will probably be the same as the E3 demo that is shown in Santa Monica.

More great news about Devil May Cry 4 as Capcom will be showing new levels of Devil May Cry 4 at the coming Game Convention or Tokyo Games Show events. The next demo will also be running on Xbox 360 hardware, in stead of the PS3 hardware where the first demo ran on. A releasedate for the demo or full version of Devil May Cry 4 haven't been given.

PC - Devil May Cry 4 - Devil May Cry 4 Delayed Until 2008 Bad news for Devil May Cry fans. The release date for Devil May Cry 4 has been pushed back into 2008. Signs that this might be the case arose on 1up's write up of Devil May Cry 4 - at the top of the page was the date 1/15/2008. Of course this was no confirmation, especially since Capcom have been providing playable demos to gaming websites and events alike. Yet these demos were on the game's original platform - the Playstation 3...

Confirmation comes from Eurogamer's time with Capcom:

"Surely the game must be out soon? Not so. Fans have a further nine months to wait until it finally emerges sometime in "Q1 2008", our Capcom rep regretfully informs us."

So there you have it Devil May Cry 4 won't be hitting store shelves until early 2008. The delay may well be because of the games new mulitplatform status, since Capcom also announced a simultaneous release on the PS3, Xbox360 and PC. Or it could be that Capcom are waiting for the PS3 user base to grow. Which ever reason, hopefully the wait will be appeased by Dant'es and Nero's slick moves.

PC News | Devil May Cry 4
Although the two stars Dante and Nero are apparently very different (even though they look like the same guy wearing different coats) Capcom says that the two console versions of Devil May Cry 4 will be pretty much identical. Speaking to IGN, an unnamed DMC4 dev commented: "As far as the Xbox [360] and the PS3 are concerned, the capabilities and the features in the game, we expect will be the same.
