Demigod developer Stardock claims that over 120,000 users have tried to play the title online since it was launched early last weekend, and only 18,000 of them have actually paid for it.

Retailer GameStop has inexplicably started selling copies of Demigod a few days before its planned release on Tuesday.
On February 19th, Beta 3 of Demigod will be released. A week after that, the window will close for new people to join the beta.
Gamestop's web site sometimes yields a few interestesting items. One of them is the official reveal of a Collector's Edition for Demigod, the upcoming action-strategy-RPG hybrid game from developer Gas Powered Games and publisher Stardock. Priced at $49.99 ($10 more than the standard version) the Collector's Edition will contain a music soundtrack CD, a poster and a pewter figurine.

Gas Powered Games announced today that the Demigod Pre-Order Beta test is now live. Demigod's publisher Stardock will continue to provide limited access to the Betas through pre-order signups.

Gas Powered Games announced that Stardock will be the exclusive, worldwide publishing partner for Demigod. Set for release in February 2009, Demigod is a team-based action game with RTS and RPG elements. Demigod will be available for purchase at traditional retail stores and via Stardock's digital distribution service. All pre-orders will be valid to participate in a public beta that begins this June.
Gas Powered Games' RTS-RPG hybrid PC project Demigod has been delayed. The upcoming RPG/RTS from Gas Powered Games is having development help from Stardock Games, the guys behind Sins of a Solar Empire.
Shacknews is reporting that Gas Powered Games' RTS-RPG hybrid Demigod (PC) has been delayed into 2009 and will be published by digital and retail distributor Stardock, the two companies announced today.
Gas Powered Games has told Eurogamer that Demigod is "completely playable" and "fairly certain" for a 2008 release.
Rumors of Space Siege and Demigod, two of Gas Powered Games' upcoming projects, being announced for consoles have been whirling for a while now. At GDC 2008 in San Francisco, IGN had a chance to ask GPG's Chris Taylor if there were any status updates.
