Play Vault's Elliot: "A word of advice; If you ever happen to be dating a member of Introversion, under no circumstances break up with them they do not take these things well. They have released a video that they originally filmed to celebrate finishing Darwinia+, wrapping up their nearly decade-long relationship with the adorable Darwinian stick figures. The video is essentially a horrifying snuff movie where they drill, boil, nail, burn, shoot and lawnmower Darwinians to pieces. Disturbing."

The European independent creative team called EMBERGEP (means: MANMACHINE) has released their first game: Spacework 1.1 for Windows and Mac OS X. It is not about the simulation of the reality. This is a future-retro design product. The game has a fully artificial, synthetized environment with machines, robots and spaceships without pilots. In this world - on the Triton - everything is controlled and programmed in a very strict way. Because of the very strict design the creators wanted to make a very linear story. Theres a start point and end point. In between you need to find and regain the Monolith. There are no offsets. You can find the full story and more information about the unique concept on the official site of Spacework.

Eurogamer writes: Introversion's Mark Morris and Chris Delay told the Eurogamer Expo this week that Darwinia+ will be submitted to Xbox Live Arcade certification in the next few weeks, with a likely release the next side of Christmas. The pair, speaking yesterday afternoon, told a tale of adaptation and frustration, and specifically the stark contrast between Introversion in 2009 and Introversion on stage at the Independent Games Festival in 2006, when they took the star prize for the original Darwinia.'

From the official forum of Introversion: Admittedly it's been on the rumour-mill for a while and quite possibly one of the worst-kept secrets in Introversion's history, but recent events meant we thought it was time to end the speculation once and for all! Three years on from Darwinia's release on PC and we are really happy to confirm that we're working with Microsoft to bring both Darwinia, and our next title Multiwinia: Survival of the Flattest, onto the Xbox LIVE® Arcade service. Due for release in early Autumn 2008, both games will be released under one package called Darwinia+.

A new listing on the Entertainment Software Rating Board's website reveals that a downloadable version of Introversion Software's lo-fi action-strategy hybrid Darwinia (PC) is coming to the Xbox 360's Xbox Live Arcade. An XBLA port of the title has been rumored as far back as 2006, but both Microsoft and the developers have remained quiet about Darwinia's appearance on the platform.
