Paradox Interactive has today released a playable demo of Dark Horizon, the recently released Space Combat Simulator for the PC. The demo, which is available at Giant Realm, will allow players to step inside their spacecraft and attempt to save the plagued galaxy of Enosta. Enosta is slowly being destroyed by the dark enemy force, the Mirk.

Space action combat simulator for the PC finds a new home The official website of Dark Horizon is now live, offering new details about this stark and atmospheric space combat simulation which follows along the same lines of classics like Wing Commander and Freelancer. The game promises to deliver a plot-rich experience, 22 challenging missions, laced with special features such as full ship customization, original weapon creation, joystick support, and several modes of combat. Dark Horizon will hit the store shelves on September 23rd across North America and September 26th across Europe.

Paradox Interactive's action space title has now been finalised and classified as 'gold'. The game will ship later this month.
