Crytek finally reveal the rig-threatening demands

We've already seen the leaked 'unofficial' minimum specs from an EA blunder, but now thanks to a press event taking place right now in Frankfurt, Germany - the home of Crysis developer Crytek - we finally have the all important info that answers if you'll be able to play the incredible looking shooter on your PC. The minimum and recommended sysytem requirements for Crysis are as follows:

Official minimum specs
RAM: 1GB for XP/1.5GB for Vista
Video card:
DirectX 9.0c compatible
OS: 2.8 GHz or faster for XP/3.2GHz or faster for Vista

Official recommended specs
CPU:
Intel Core Duo with 2.2GHz or AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+
RAM: 2GB
Video card: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS or similar
OS: XP or Vista
