The two new campaigns in Opposing Fronts couldn't be more different

British Second Army

The new British army (incorporating Canadian artillery) is the first attempt in Company of Heroes to create a force for overturning. They’re mainly an infantry force, but able to dig trenches at any point on the map, and soldiers in trenches are virtually invulnerable to artillery rounds, tank shot or small arms fire.

Best of all, Britain loves the barrage. In the fight for Caen, Britain pioneered the use of creeping artillery fire - dropping shells in a front along the line of advance. That’s mirrored in their special abilities, along with the awesome counter-artillery barrage.

German Panzer Elite

Disappointed that the new Axis side is a reskinned Germany? Don’t be. These Panzer Elite forces are equipped with the incredible Tiger II tank, capable of knocking out the US Sherman tanks from over two and half kilometers away.

The Panzer Elite will depend almost entirely on their vehicles, fielding half-tracks and mounted mortars alongside the heavier tank-killers. Even the paratroopers travel by truck - with the Luftwaffe out of action, troops sneak behind enemy lines in jeeps and trucks to sabotage supply points and booby trap attack routes.
