Showcasing the new attitude of the Soviet Premier and his legion of comrades, EA is unveiling their brand new Soviet Faction Logo for Red Alert 3, the "flower and the sickle". While this is certainly a departure from the legendary hammer seen in the Soviet logo for Red Alert 1 and 2, EA felt it was critical to showcase the growth of the Soviets power in the upcoming Red Alert 3 through the "flower": a powerful symbol which represents the blossoming of a new seed, a rebirth of the Soviets if you will.
Electronic Arts' Chris Corry believes there is still a long way to go before console RTS games can be as fluent as their PC counterparts.
EA has said it is confident that Red Alert 3 will be released this "holiday season".

The Polish magazine Click! has revealed a few more interesting details about Red Alert 3. As the magazine is in Polish we can't read it, but thanks to a C&C community member, Kodaemon, we do know the interesting bits that were revealed by the magazine.
The first expansion pack for the PC edition of Command & Conquer 3 is in manufacturing and will arrive at retailers on March 26, publisher Electronic Arts has announced.
Eurogamer reports that Electronic Arts has said that Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath will be out on 28th March, and each copy will come with an individual beta key for Red Alert 3.

EA has today announced the development of Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, with a PC beta set for later this year.
