This new Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 trailer is dubbed a "remix" and features a vast array of random clips from Red Alert 3's superstar cast, interspersed with gameplay footage, some CG cutscenes, and a cheesy techno soundtrack. It's like being at a party and someone says something so random and bizarre, you can't tell if it's a joke or just some evil form of awkwardness. Either way, if you ever wanted to hear George Takei say "All your base are belong to us" over, and over, and over again, then you definitely want to check it out.
Giant Bomb: "Electronic Arts is certainly no stranger to pre-order bonuses, but apparently getting you to pick up one game for extra stuff isn't enough. Now, if you really want to get as many weird bonus items as possible for your dude in the upcoming Warhammer Online, you'll also need to file a pre-order for Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3."
As part of the marketing campaign for Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3, EA will let you download the original Red Alert for free on August 31st. It's over a decade old and doesn't have as much babeage as later installments but, hey, you get to see Einstein kill Hitler.
This just in: In some epiphany of clarity (and insanity, surely) EA/FilePlanet have decided that they'd like more people in on the Red Alert 3 beta. If you're a long-time fan of Command and Conquer or just someone who has a minute interest in real-time strategy games, go for it - you have nothing to lose. But hurry! It looks like it's on a first come, first serve basis.

Never ones to shy away from a chance to earn an extra buck or two, EA have announced they'll be releasing a "Premium Edition" of upcoming RTS Red Alert 3. Exclusive (at least in Europe) to GAME, the premium box will see the game packed in a metal tin, along with five exclusive MP/skirmish maps, a DVD with a making-of featurette (along with the sure-to-be-tasteful special "Women of Red Alert 3"), a soundtrack and, curiously, an "Exclusive Beta Key to a future C&C game!" Exclamation is theirs, not ours. The only C&C game we can think of on the horizon is Tiberium, and with that not due for a while, be sure to keep that beta key somewhere you won't forget about it.
Gemma Atkinson is to star in a video game. The former Hollyoaks actress is the latest star to appear in the real-time strategy game Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3. Gemma, 23, will play military officer Lt Eva McKenna in the game. Gemma said: "I'm a gamer and the chance to act in one of the best-loved games was an opportunity I was really keen to explore."
Addict Gaming Wrote: "The open beta to Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 is now live. Red Alert 3 is the next highly anticipated installment in the popular real-time strategy franchise and forces players to take control of the Allies, Soviets, or the new Empire of the Rising Sun. In addition, players will have control over all units including bears, dolphins, kirovs, mirage tanks, and transforming machines.

Game Informer writes: While the battle between air and land superiority has been waged for years in Command & Conquer's Red Alert offshoot, fans of the briny deep have had to sit it out for the most part. With the third version of the game, however, the era of anti-water prejudice is finally over. During a demo at EA's recent pre-E3 event, we got to see some of the game's new units, strategies and gameplay mechanics-in action on the battlefield, of course.
