TGB writes: Despite EA's accidental Command & Conquer 4's announcement yesterday, EA has revealed further details and the first concept art of the epic conclusion to the beloved Tiberium universe.
An online survey apparently conducted on behalf of publisher Electronic Arts contains word of the unannounced Command & Conquer 4 and numerous details. Among those details are gameplay features, such as persistent RPG-like progression, along with possible features for a future version of the real-time strategy series.
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 - Uprising's assistant producer Matt Ott reckons there's life in the real-time strategy series yet. I'd hardly say Red Alert has run its course, he said, while mentioning a sequel, Red Alert 4, is likely to go into production within the next 7 years.

In a newsletter published this evening, EA has let slip the release date for its upcoming PC-only Red Alert 3 standalone expansion, Red Alert 3: Uprising. Command & Conquer Red Alert 3: Uprising will be available via digital download from Thursday March 12th. The newsletter also confirmed that the PS3 version of Red Alert 3 will be shipping from March 23rd.
