Ex: It looks like Electronic Arts is trying to steal at least a small fraction of StarCraft II's booming RTS thunder with a deeply discounted catalog of Command & Conquer titles for PC.

TGB writes: Despite EA's accidental Command & Conquer 4's announcement yesterday, EA has revealed further details and the first concept art of the epic conclusion to the beloved Tiberium universe.

An online survey apparently conducted on behalf of publisher Electronic Arts contains word of the unannounced Command & Conquer 4 and numerous details. Among those details are gameplay features, such as persistent RPG-like progression, along with possible features for a future version of the real-time strategy series.

The C&C series continues to thrive with Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath. As the expansion pack to C&C 3 Tiberium Wars, this RTS game returns to the Tiberium universe with Kane at the center of an epic new single player campaign. Via WorthPlaying.

Command & Conquer 3 developer EA Los Angeles has admitted that it has had a chronic issue [with product support] for more than four years, and is forming a dedicated support team to try and address the issue. Stemming from I am not as proud of our record in supporting our games after launch. In fact, I'm downright unhappy with that aspect of our business, EALA general manager Mike Verdu wrote on the official C&C site. The admission stemmed from a long-delayed patch for the PC edition of the C&C3 expansion pack Kane's Wrath. Verdu noted that EALA tends to release a limited number of patches for our products and in many cases those patches take longer than they should, attributing the issues to 'tension between developing new products and supporting our older products.'
