We have a funny feeling that Civilization's rabid fans will already have charged into their local games emporiums and hastily handed over cash for new expansion Beyond the Sword; but IF you haven't, you may like to know a demo's been released.

717MB of download will get you 75 turns with the Final Frontier scenario from the expansion, which as you can probably guess takes Civ into space. The demo's available from the usual download suspects including this one.

Beyond the Sword, the second expansion for Civilization IV, is the largest Civ expansion ever in content terms and introduces the likes of 12 new scenarios, ten new civilizations, 16 new leaders, five new wonders and numerous new units.
