IncGamers reports that Cryptic Studios has revealed details of another hero in their upcoming MMO 'Champions Online'; Dr Silverback.
"The gadget-making Gorilla is part of The Champions super team. Originally captured and tested on, he was rescued by British superheroes, the New Knights of the Round Table, taken back to England and eventually granted a British citizenship."

Cryptic Studios has unveiled new information and screenshots of Millenium City, home to the heroes in the upcoming MMO, Champions Online.
The new info sheds some light on the background of Millennium City, explaining how it became the high-tech metropolis it is now. 17 years ago, the evil Doctor Destroyer reduced Detroit to rubble, but the superheroes rebuilt it as an example of determination. It is now the home of the world's most powerful superteam, the Champions, along with other heroes such as Dr Silverback and Kodiak.

Cryptic has released a video on Tunnelling, a superhero way to get around in the upcoming MMO, Champions Online.
Players may choose tunnelling as a method of superhero travel instead of the more traditional flying, or even teleportation, jumping or the recently announced swinging. Tunnelling allows characters to burrow under the ground and pop up close to enemies without being detected as they approach.

Cryptic plans to introduce vehicles for its superhero characters in the upcoming MMO, Champions Online.
Speaking to IncGamers at a recent press event, Bill Roper, executive producer of Cryptic Studios, revealed that there are plans to create super vehicles for players as an alternative to flying, burrowing, teleporting or swinging through the in-game world of Champions Online.

If you'd like to be immortalized in-game in addition to receiving a beta key, then boy do we have the contest to point you towards. Naming a park isn't so hard, really. We suggest combining some kind of heroic figure or event, with a plant one associates with parks. Something like Alien Invasion Ficus Park may suffice, but we should mention we're not judges."

Bill Roper, Executive Producer of upcoming superhero MMO Champions Online, revealed to IncGamers at a recent press event that there are plans to introduce a Secret Identity feature to the game sometime after it launches in July.
Since Champions Online was announced, fans were keen to see if the game would have any form of secret identity mechanic, after all, most superheroes have a not-so-super alter-ego hidden away somewhere. IncGamers asked Bill if Cryptic would be adding this as a feature to Champions, and he admitted that it was on the cards.

Cryptic Studios is trying out a Real Money Trading (RMT) system in the Champions Online beta.
Some sort of microtransactions will likely be implemented. The statement says it's "a necessary component of the greater Cryptic platform since we plan on working on a number of different titles using our technology platform."

New information on Champions Online's villains, The Bleak Ones, has emerged.
Based in the Sunken City of Lemuria, The Bleak Ones watch in glee as the Lemurians have slowly lost their powers and then their land, after turning their backs on their creators:
"They howled in rage when the Lemurians turned from them to worship false gods. They exacted revenge and publicly tortured the soul of the false prophet upon his death.
