Once the formula is complete, you must defend the misting system from a relentless assault by Ryan's Splicers - he sends like half the population of Rapture in after you. The furious battle requires you to pull out every trick in the book, and then come up with a few new ones. No one plasmid will do it - you'll have to mix and match if you want to stay alive long enough to thwart Ryan's supervilliany.

While it's clear that Ryan has gone off the deep end (har har), the motivations and loyalties of the rest of the characters are obfuscated. Mysterious "Who is Atlas?" posters are plastered around Arcadia, calling into question the role your disembodied guide might have played in pre-collapse Rapture. We sure can't wait to find out - August 21 can't come soon enough! We'll bring you new details as we get 'em.
